We hope to assist with preparing the players to be lifelong learners in an ever-changing society through the instrument of softball. Softball is much more than hitting, fielding, and pitching. It is about working together with the same mindset in order to be the most effective and efficient team on the field. The Lady Mustangs do this by working as a team, winning as a team, and losing as a team. The Lady Mustangs will carry themselves with high regard and respect for each other as well as others they are competing against. It is our mission that by the end of the season, these student-athletes will be able to function responsibly and appropriately on and off the field. It is our mission while each student athlete learns to function as a team on the field that these attributes will be extended to their everyday life. Furthermore, we are here to prepare each student athlete for the next level of softball and life. Therefore, we promise to assist with this development as long as each student athlete promises to do the same. As Lady Mustangs, we are here to win, not just at softball, but at life. If you want to play, then prepare to play.  Everyone has the will to win, but not everyone has the will to prepare to win. This will be our motivation for this year. It is our mission that each student athlete has the desire and the will to prepare themselves to be a winner. Therefore, if you don’t prepare to win, then you will not play.  If you want more playing time, improve your game, keep your attitude straight, and get someone's playing time by out-playing, out-thinking, and out-hustling them. Dedication, honesty and hard-work will lead this team to success. Softball is a team game and we expect a team attitude. You have to bond together, be there for each other, and support each other.  “This team can only be as strong as its weakest member.”
