Beta Club
BETA Overview
Welcome to the BETA Club, where bright minds and big hearts come together! Since 1934, when Dr. John W. Harris at Wofford College sparked this amazing journey, we've grown into one of America's largest and most beloved educational youth groups. In BETA Club, it's all about celebrating your academic achievements and building your character, leadership, and service skills.
We're a friendly bunch, eager to welcome new members who share our passion for learning and helping others. Whether it's through exciting community projects or developing your leadership qualities, there's always something here for everyone. Join us in the BETA Club, where we make learning fun and meaningful, and where every member is a star!

Mission Statement: To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.
Achievement-recognizing and honoring high academic achievement (students must maintain a 90 average)
Character-preparing young people for life and empowering them to be successful (no discipline referrals)
Leadership-developing the leaders of tomorrow (students are the leaders of this group, teachers are here to help)
Service-demonstrating our motto: Let Us Lead by Serving Others (students must accumulate 5 hours of service this school year. This can be done here at church, neighborhood, or any other organization)
Membership dues are dependent upon the division in which students fall. Each division requires a one-time payment which covers the student for the duration of their time in that division. Junior Betas pay $24 which covers all 3 years in middle school.
