Joining the Student Council helps you grow as a leader while building vital communication, organization, and decision-making skills. It’s an incredible way to meet new people, give back to your community, and it looks great on future applications and resumes when you head to high school.

Eligibility & Expectations

SCA members are expected to lead by example—both in and out of the classroom. To run for office and maintain your position, you must:

• Maintain a 70+ average in all classes.
• Have no major disciplinary infractions (e.g., insubordination, disruption, truancy).
• Attend all monthly meetings (3 unexcused absences = removal). Meetings are held at 7:35 AM in the Learning Commons.
• Serve on committees, contribute to events, and actively represent your peers.
