Meet Our STEA2M Coach

We are dedicated to making sure every Mustang has the opportunity to explore, create, and innovate. Our curriculum is designed to challenge students to think outside the box and prepare them for the workforce of tomorrow.

Brandi Bonorato serves as the STEA2M Coach at South Effingham Middle School and has held this role for the past five years. A former science teacher, she brings a strong instructional background and a deep passion for innovation in education.

In her current role, Brandi leads the development and implementation of engaging STEA2M initiatives, with a particular focus on project-based learning (PBL). She works closely with teachers to design meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, agriculture, arts, and mathematics, helping students build critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Brandi is highly involved in all aspects of STEM and STEA2M programming at SEMS and is known for her creativity, energy, and collaborative approach. Whether she is supporting teachers, developing new ideas, or enhancing classroom instruction, she is always willing to jump in and help wherever needed.

Outside of school, Brandi is a proud parent of four children in the Effingham County School System. She stays busy balancing both her professional and personal life, but consistently brings dedication, enthusiasm, and a student-centered mindset to everything she does.
